Faval Club Brno, Czech Republic

My good buddy Martino sent me this video from our show in the Czech Republic. This show was definitely one of my top 3 favorites of the tour. I've never got so many free drinks in my entire life. If you have never been to the Czech Republic, do your self a huge favor and go. Beer's are like .75 cents American, the girls are beautiful and everyone is way too nice. Being there honestly makes me want to be a better human being.

Enjoy!

I'm so bored with the USA

So after 4 different airplanes, 5 different airports and about 20 hours of flying: I finally got home last night about 3am. Never fly US Airways. Our tour in Europe was AMAZING! Every show was great and most of them were incredible. As usual, I wasn't able to update while I was on the road. However, I am going to do a complete tour journal from the last 3 weeks. I'm not going to lie, I drank entirely too much every night but I think I can remember most of the good stuff from the tour. Big thanks to Benni, Bob, Anidote, and Gewapend Beton. With out you guys the tour would not have been the same.

Check back for a tour journal, hopefully soonish.

Shows Shows and More Shows

Pullout played our 4th show last night at the VFW Hall in Orangevale and it was by far our tightest played set, things are starting to come together nicely. Seeing how it was a Tuesday night the show had potential to suck tremendously. It ended up being an awesome time, kids were getting down and a few were singing along. Didn't get to stay for the whole show because I had to drive two hours back to SF so I could work bright and early at 7am, but I did get to catch The Takeover and they killed it!!

If you haven't added Pullout on myspace, you should.

2008 In Your Face!!

After reading my good friend Kristy's blog I realized that I had started one of these things in April 2007. I started with the intent of posting pictures/stories from the road and other random shit that happens to me in my far from normal routine. At first, I thought it could be a good way for friends to see what I am up to when I am not home. Then I thought it was stupid, too personal, figured my friends would make fun of me for having a blog and that know one would read it. Finally, I realized I had little time on the road to use the internet. So here we are, 9 months later and decided to give it another shot.

Here is a quick review of what I forgot to post: Over 3 months of tour, Germany, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, 30+ United States, new tattoos, new scars, good shows, bad shows, heart breaks, fist fights, pills, booze, broken strings, ringing ears, no sleep, long plain rides, even longer van rides, hard wood floors, public urination, new Euro friends, new Canadian friends, new American friends, new band, dude-ity, new house, new car, fooseball, dude crew, and seeing Shane McGowan preform live before he takes his inevitable dirt nap.

2007 exceeded all my expectations. I was fortunate enough to tour across Europe and the United States. I spent over 3 months and about 5,432,342,000,000 miles in a van, on a plane or a train. I made new friends, learned curse words in several different languages and got to play with great bands from all over the world. Most importantly, I got to spend every minute of it with 5 of the greatest friends I could ask for.

2008's got potential too, even with the decision that Monster Squad is going to be taking a long break. We are going to Tour in Europe one last time in February then we might play again, or not. It's up in the air right now, either way, we made a good run at it. I have a new band called PULLOUT with Jay from MS, Justin and Jason from DCOI and James from MS merch and fill in DCOI bass player. We got lots of shows coming up in March in So Cal and Northern California and a tour sometime this summer. Check it out: www.myspace.com/pulloutpunx

I've rambled for too long, check back if you want. I will do my best to update this on the road. I will leave you with some pictures from 2007/2008.

If you could sum up 2007 in one photo, this would be pretty damn close. Riverside, Ca after our Youth Brigade weekend.

Ft. Stockton Texas. I drove all night, then tried to sleep in a van for a couple hours with 9 other dudes in a Wal Mart parking lot. Then, decided it would be smart to shave in said parking lot with a dull razor. Worst idea ever.

Sacramento News and Review Inteview.

There is a very funny interview in the new Sacramento News and Review with Jason. Most of the funny stuff happened before I joined the band. However, I was there for the MS poop autograph on the Action's van. It was probably the single greatest moment in American History.

Check out the Interview Here:
